John 14:26
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
Before the Christmas break at my home church where I teach as a volunteer, the director of the CCE Department gave each classroom two sheets of paper for a special project. She wanted the students to make comments about their teachers, which they did. The sheets were collected and copies made; some were cut into sentence strips and then placed into empty tree ornaments.
A letter was fashioned as well to each Cathechist (teacher of Christian education). It reads as follows:
DEAR CATHECHISTS,
We want to wish you a very Merry Christmas. We hope that in this time when we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus, we remember the important things in our lives...love, hope, pardon, kindness and faith; that our homes be filled with the true spirit of Christmas as we look forward t the New Year.
Blessings,
The CCE Department

I am very touched by the good words that my students shared about me. I just do what comes natural and with passion. In truth, I am just His vessel and instrument. It is He that they sense and feel in me.
I am just as awestruck and inspired about Lord Jesus Christ as they are. I always will be. I will continue to serve Him as long as He permits me to.
