Matthew 10:22
You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
I haven't been writing a whole lot for a few years now. In the beginning I had a lot to share. All of it was well intended and focused on me.
I have had a lot of negative commentary from my siblings. Publicly, I have had a good amount of jesting and insults. I have also had the blessing of interacting with people who actually learned what it is like to come out of their dark, cold or void into a new light they had never known before.
Sometimes what I hear astounds me, and even numbs me. I don't know what to say. I just let them tell me how they feel and most of us stay connected.
I simply share what takes place in my life. That is all. I have learned to curb/filter what I share about other people that I encounter.
Although they want to express what they have experienced, they want to keep their anonymity between us. I keep that as a trust now. What's important is their experience and sharing. It takes courage to reveal personal things; especially the things that are spiritual and life changing.
I have shared my events and I did it to open up and reveal how God has worked in my life since I was a young child. Otherwise, the world would never have known a thing about it. Because I stood up and took the time and effort to come forth, I have been able to reach into people like nobody else before me.
I did not design any of that. Our LORD did. It is He behind every bit of it, I am merely His instrument.
These current days I find myself having to find a new focus for my earthly self. My spiritual self is still focused on the Kingdom. Lord Jesus says to live life one day at a time. He also advises us on how to use our time and resources. He has given us insight that how we live now will be a template for what we receive for our eternal blessed life.
Matthew 6:34
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 25:15
To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey.
That is what I need to hone in on this new year. We all do. Amen.
