Trusting

Psalm 31:3
Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me.
This month brought about births, deaths, anniversaries, birthdays, celebrations, memorials and Mothers Day. It was full of day to day life events. Where was your focus?
Did you remember to start each day with prayer? Did you remember not to drown yourself with worry? Did you remember that we have a source of strength that can help us handle our daily lives?
This month also brought the conclusion of the Easter season, which lasts seven weeks. The reason we need to be focusing on the Lord each day is so that we don't forget that He is truly guiding our lives. The key is to remind ourselves, daily, that He is able to help us if we allow Him to.
We must choose to allow Him the control and design of our lives. We must release our grip on whatever it is that we are in. Whatever makes us worth any earthly amount of value. We can have assets but don't focus on them, focus on the Lord. He will help to provide assets.
During this month I saw posts that reflected this wisdom from my friends here. It made me smile to see their appreciation of the Lord's blessings. They understand and recognize that they have their comfort because the Lord provided it. I see this in my own life, as simple that it is.
May we continue to credit the Lord for good things. May we attribute knowledge, experience and talents to Him. May we pray each day and love Him in that special time of communion. May we be persistent in our love of each other and of the Lord.
Bless us all in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
