I had a great week at work and in life for the third week in a row. After I got home today I felt "dense." I prayed as usual but I just didn't feel right. So, I went walking. I have been seeing a gated area of land that has cattle roaming in it and decided that is where I was going to head to. I climbed over the gate and enjoyed a terrain that was very familiar to me. I crossed cattle guards and barbed wire - something I was very accustomed to seeing as a young boy growing up in Cut-n-Shoot, Texas.
I had a great communion with the Lord on this walk. I just talked and listened and soon I was feeling "electrified and happy." I liked being on a dirt road again. I walked so many miles of dirt roads growing up. The sky was clear and I could see the magnificence and beauty of the moon and stars.
I recalled the following bible verse:
Psalm 19:1- The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handiwork.
I won't go into details about what we discussed, but I again know that my focus and discernment are in His will. I await the changes in my life with faith and trust in the Lord. I am ready.
