Matthew 6:19-20
Treasures in Heaven
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
Christian faith excites me...it indeed gives me new life every day. I am like a child in a candy store. I recall the days of my childhood when I would walk over to a corner store...a mom and pop type. I carried a handful of coins.
I could literally buy a good amount of penny candy with only a small amount of coins. Jars were filled with "one cent" candy. Another was filled with "nickel" candy. The owners offered five pieces of candy from each jar for either a penny or a nickel. That is exactly what happens with Christian faith.
You put just a little in and get a fountain for your return. Do this every day. It will provide.
I am not referring to anything but "faith." I am not promoting anything else. Faith provides so very much.
Yes, it will.
(When my family first moved to the Houston area, we lived off Homestead Road near Hwy 59 - the Aldine area. I attended Johnson Elementary School for a couple of years. Then...we moved to Cut-n-Shoot...where I would attend schools in Conroe. There was very little development in Cut-n-Shoot at that time.)
