John 20:29
Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
Seriously, I often wonder if Jesus Christ was a short person or handicapped in some way. He once told a man that he saw him sitting near a tree before they actually met:
John 1:48
“How do you know me?” Nathanael asked.
Jesus answered, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.”
and...
John 1:49
Then Nathanael declared, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel.”
What if Nathaniel believed in the Messiah because seeing him at the tree would have been impossible for an ordinary person? There are no details given about His height, stature or appearance in the Holy Bible except for one place:
Isaiah 53:2
He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
