There are many churches and temples or places of worship. It gets confusing on what is the true one. I find that the Living God provides the difference when making this decision. This is how God is described in the Old and New Testaments.
People know the trueness of God and seek it. I had a vision last night about a trip I made to seek out someone I love. I drove with my son Christopher to a desert where she was located.
Nearing the town, I noticed a man walking on the side of the road. We stopped at an office of some kind. We walked around and it seems to me Christopher knew where he was going and why we were there. The walking man was there too. He looked at me nervously and then looked away.
Christopher had talked to someone and then we were on our way. My destination was guided by a letter I had received. I was following the instructions it gave me. I was to next arrive at her home.
I knocked on the door and was greeted by a friend of hers. She was gone for the day. There was a group of people there that attended to me. They prepared a room for me to stay in. I saw a toddler.
A little boy in a diaper and no shoes. He was blonde and so sweet. He clung to me and I just fell in love with him. I love children. The friend and I spent the day talking about the woman. I never saw her.
We walked out to my car and the friend started asking if he could have one of my t-shirts and a sweatshirt. I gave them to him. He also grabbed a bottle of my aftershave. This was very strange.
We went back inside and I noticed that the little boy's diaper was hanging. I then noticed he had poop in the diaper and needed cleaning and changing. The friend was ignoring the child so I picked him up and took him to the bathroom.
When my three children were young and got messy, I would give them a bath and then change them. So, that is what I did for the little boy. It is what I know. It is my way.
Evening came and the friend was nowhere to be seen. I went on a walk into the town to see the sights. I met various people and ended up back near her house. I had not noticed that there was an amusement park nearby. Since it was dusk, I couldn't help but notice it now.
I looked back and there was a group of patio tables and chairs. The tables were the kind that an umbrella sits in the middle of. There was my lady friend, finally.
She did not directly acknowledge me. She kept looking away. I leaned towards her and the friend, who was between us. I placed my left hand on his shoulder as I began talking to her. "I haven't seen a single hair on your head since I arrived. Where have you been?"
She got up and started talking. "You drove into town and saw the old man walking, but you didn't see if he needed any help. Then you came to my house and spent the day with my friend and didn't ask if he needed anything. Then I heard about the baby getting dirty and you wouldn't offer to help."
Her friend was wearing my t-shirt and sweatshirt. He just sat there with a liar's face and stare. I did not address him. I did not confront the lies.
Instead, I began to speak...rather loudly to her, him and anyone in close proximity:
"When I work. I give my best effort. Not sometimes. Not when I feel like it as some folks do. I do it all of the time. I do not leave work undone. I live for my Lord. He expects me to do my best for people...all of the time. So, when I work I am doing it for Him."
People actually began to cheer. She and her friend departed. I was then left walking around a bit. A young girl walked up to me and spoke,"I like what you said, sir...about working for the Lord. I learned that from my parents."
"You are familiar with the teaching?" I asked. She said,"I am very interested in God. I want you to tell me more of what you know." So, we sat and talked about God. I don't know how long.
My friend had jewelry on that I noticed as we spoke to each other. I left some simpler jewelry behind on one of those patio tables that I had bought for her. The last part of my vision really caught my attention. She seemed so hard and bitter at me. Something changed that.
The last scenes are of her taking off finger armor that had claws. She was in her room at home. She laid them down one by one on a silver jewelry tray. She laid down a necklace and earrings that matched.
God brings people into our lives for a purpose. I have heard that over and over. Whatever God wants to take place, will. My friend was touched by authentic love and compassion. It helped her to make a decision.
God loves us. Jesus Christ endured torture and death for our sins and arose to be at the right hand of The Father as our advocate. The Holy Spirit is with us the very moment we accept Jesus Christ as Saviour.
Trust Him. Amen.
