So, I am walking from my home to the nearest Walmart and that is about 4 miles. I have been doing a lot of biking lately due to my car getting repoed. Times have been hard for going on three years now. But, I have been experiencing the deepest loving Christian faith of my entire life. Good timing.
I can smile and feel good and know what my blessings are. Like today, a Comcast cable representative needed to collect my equipment due to cancellation of my services. He called last night and said he would be coming by today. I was at the Walmart when he called me. I told him I was shopping for a few things and wouldn't be home for a little while.
He wanted to know how long I would take. I informed him that I was on foot and that it would be an hour or so. He offered to pick me up and bring me home in his car. I said,"Okay." On the way home he told me about a friend of his that owns a Chrysler dealership. He gave me his name and the name of his friend and told me,"Go see him and tell him that I sent you. Tell him I said he would fix you up with a car."
So, when I get organized a bit, hopefully soon, I will go and see his friend. I thanked him for his information and told him it was a blessing to have met him. He left smiling and took the cable service equipment with him, of course.
Little by little, I am starting to see God sorting my jumbled life out. I am beginning to see light at the end of a long tunnel. A tunnel that I got myself into and God has had to do a lot to get me straightened out and headed in the right direction. His direction.
Thank you, Lord.
