Jeremiah 23:28 - Let the prophet who has a dream tell his dream, but let the one who has my word speak it faithfully. For what has straw to do with grain?" declares the LORD.
I have described several visions I have experienced in my lifetime. As I slept last night, I had another. We are supposed to share our visions. The following is an account of the one I had:
I was in a cafe and having a meal with my children, and over from us was a man with his young children. He was talking to them about how he will soon have a job and that things will get better. I felt compassion for him and noticed the humbleness in his face and the look of struggle.
I was walking with my children and noticed the ground was recently rained on. A large old red station wagon was trying to make its way over a large muddy hill. The ground started to give and then opened up swallowing the car. Soon, there was a deep crater that was filled with water. The car was floating, for now. The windows were open and I could see the people in it. It was the man and children from the cafe!
I told my children to run for help and I kept an eye on the car. I began shouting,"Help!" Soon, a man came running out of big red barn and threw a big large rope into the crater. He tied himself and a towering snow white ostrich to ends of other ropes and people lowered them down. He attached the big ropes to the front bumper of the car, hitched up the ostrich and then proceeded to work upwards to the steep wall.
I thought that something more than one big bird was needed in order to pull that huge red station wagon out of the water. I was very concerned for the rescue to be successful and was in disbelief that this was that family's only attempt of rescue. I didn't have any confidence in that big bird.
To my amazement the big snow white ostrich was 'on the go' and the car was being pulled out of the water onto, up and over the steep wall. The big bird had strength and powered its way onto the safe and level ground with car in tow. The ostrich had a "straight forward focus" on its face. I felt the aura coming out of it.
It was radiant.
They were rescued!
Meaning:
This vision points out a man in struggle who has children to care for. What happened? What have they been enduring? Where was the mother? More than all of that, did he have God in his heart? Did he pray?
The muddy and steep hill represents his trials. Ultimately, the trials apexed (reached a high point) and that is when the man and his family were most vulnerable. At the point of perilous drowning comes a magnificent snow white ostrich (the Holy Spirit). God's answer from prayers. Whatever it is that the Lord provides is the answer, whether it appears to be so or not. You must trust in the Lord.
God can do anything. Amen.
