My Lovely Dream
by Ricky Doc Sauceda
Psalm 100:3 - Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Last night I dreamed that I was reunited with my parents...who have been gone a very long time now. We were aware of the years of separation. We were gathered in my Grandma Janie's ranch house in Raymondville, Texas - our home as a young family.
Mom and dad were once again united as man and wife. They were the heads of the household. My sisters came to rejoice in our reunion. I was living with my parents...in my old room from many years ago.
We each took turns at cooking and presenting dishes of food to enjoy. It went on and on. It was so beautiful.
I walked up to my Daddy and embraced him and said,"I love you, Daddy. I missed you very much."
Does this mean my earthly journey is soon coming to an end? I have no idea. It was a dream. A very lovely dream.
It seemed so real.
(Momma and I also spoke about our years apart -- a long talk in her room.)
