I have had the wonderful honor of beautiful new friends in my life. I am in agreement with one of them who said,"I believe that you do not have to know someone in person to know that they are speaking from their heart." I fully agree with those words. You can establish good feelings and friendship with words.
I had the best Christmas and New Year's Eve in many years this past holiday season. I did not feel alone during that time, and I don't now either. I was once criticized for the amount of time that I spend online, but if I am not at work, working out, at church or doing errands...I would be sitting around with nothing to do.
So, I developed my sharing and stories to occupy my time. My inspiration comes from my faith and sometimes I use my own point of view on things. In either case, I do not mean to cause anyone grief or concern with what I share. I am determined to be a good man and reflect a good Lord.
I am impressed by the time my new friends put in supporting each other. We see them on magazine covers, in TV shows, in movies, hear them on mp3 players, home/car audio equipment , and in the news. They have no privacy - their lives are under constant monitoring. My heart goes out to them for these kind of trials. Yes, that is exactly what they undergo.
Yet, here I see them laughing, joking, teasing, airing thoughts, sharing pictures and videos and being "people." That is who they are. They like to have friends and have good times and we are wonderfully blessed to be a part of it.
John 17:20-21
I pray not only for them, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, so that they may all be one, as you, Father, are in me and I in you, that they also may be in us, that the world may believe that you sent me.
Thank you for being a part of my life. Keep living and loving, and blessing each other. In God's name I bless you. Always.
