2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Praise to the God of All Comfort
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
I was "deep in thought" this morning as I shared my devotions with you. I was struggling. Then, I saw posts from Stefani. They electrified me - lifted me - encouraged me. Then, I heard a wonderful song by Holly Abeel of Shadow Mountain Community Church.
I know better than to face a single day without keeping my eyes to the hills. I know that I must focus. That is why I am feeling good right now.
I love each and every one of you for being my friend. For witnessing the hand of God in my life. I live simply and humbly...but, I live. I appreciate anyone who can see that life is not hopeless. It is hard and confusing at times. But there is always hope.
Even if we have to find it in Heaven.
(I also got my three miles in. It was hotter than I thought. My skin was red where it was bare. I am alright.)
