Jeremiah 17:10
"I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve."
I underwent a battery of tests recently due to a fall I had late night in a friend's house. I was alone and slipped and fell on the tiled floor on some water or melted ice. I awoke face down on the kitchen floor and in a lot of pain in my neck, stiffness too.
I talked to my doctor and she sent me for a CAT scan and stress test for my heart, separately. The CAT scan did not reveal anything significant by report but my health insurance company has since inquired about any injuries that I may have sustained in a recent car accident. I refused to answer because I have just completed battling with Workman's Comp and my employer over this issue; it took two years to resolve. (I was injured in a car accident while on my job and performing a function of my duties.)
The next phase of testing was a stress test of my heart. I was wired up and asked to lay on a table as they performed a sonogram over my heart. I was in awe looking at the organ beating within my chest enabling me to live second by second. I was truly stunned.
I was then asked to go to a room with a treadmill. I was again wired into the machine and asked to endure a session of speeds and inclines. The doctor came in mocking said,"So you're the famous one. Let's see what you got."
I was then going through their paces. I adjusted to the variances in the speed and incline. I am experienced in this from numerous workouts.
At the end I was stable and the doctor said "You have impressed me."
I was allowed to go and clean up and get my shirt on again. The results revealed that I have a completely normal and healthy heart. Something no one has in my family.
My Daddy, my Momma, my first and second sisters have all had heart surgeries or issues. My lil' sister's condition is unknown to me at this time. I was stunned by this revelation.
This is a very big boost to me in my present life. We all need good blessings in our lives and health is vital to any of our dreams and plans. Always know it is our LORD that provides the good things in our lives.
Jeremiah 32:27
"I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
