Psalm 123:1
To You I lift up my eyes, O You who are enthroned in the heavens!
It's the last day of the 2016 year. I woke up early and put on a pot of coffee. I have been spending time here appreciating people and I shared some good songs. I am on my own time today, and it is times like this that I try to make count.
The majority of my life has been occupied with jobs, working and adhering to expectations and rules. It has been like this since my first job in Conroe, Texas at the new Wendy's hamburger restaurant at that time. Since then I have had many jobs and the majority of them as a husband and father.
Today I am by myself. I have an ex-wife of many years now. My three children are living their own lives and I have one grandchild.
I have attempted to have a new relationship but have failed. But, at least I tried. At least I know that my heart still desires to have a companion.
I do know one certainty. That the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit are eternally my source of life and all things. The Bible teaches us not to fear mankind, not to be afraid of what can be done to us and to love our LORD with our heart, soul, mind and strength.
My endeavor of this life is to reach my holy and eternal home with Christ our King and Lord. I will accomplish this. As I have stated several times in the past, for now I am here to share my faith with you...for you to share your faith with me...and to remain true and loyal to our Father who is in heaven.
