1 Corinthians 12:12-13
One Body with Many Members
For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
Last night, Midnight Mass and worship were wonderful. Our pastor discussed that we need to look at the Christian faith from an outward viewpoint - outside looking in. Then from there do what we can to promote our faith as Christians in the world.
He said our faith is polyhedral. That caught my attention deeply at that point. I had an experience after my workout and shower as I lay on my bed. The Lord spoke to me and showed me an image. I had a hard time determining exactly what I was looking at until I finally got it totally in focus.
It was a ball of pieces of windows/panes. In them I saw people and places. I was awestruck that my pastor would incorporate the term polyhedral into his sermon. It made sense to me as to the image I had been shown and his sermon.
We are indeed many parts making up the Christian faith. Amen.
