I met up with the man who gave me the '73 VW Beetle. I have explained to him how much it is costing me to repair it. I need something reliable and economical. He thought that I would keep the car and felt it was sound enough to rely upon. He has constantly recommended a mechanic that he trusts. I finally was able to go and see him on President's Day.
After more thought and having the car examined by that experienced Volkswagen specialist, I have learned that the total cost for repairing the car, mechanically, will be just under $500. I have decided to keep Blessing (the car) and be patient as it gets repaired. This will mean more biking, but it will be temporary - a measurable amount of time. Something I could never have known before without God's love and blessing.
I am experiencing the manifestation of God's blessings now. I have been vigilant in my faith. I have been constant in my prayer. I have been solely relying on the Lord and friends who are good. The result is what all of hear all of the time - be patient because we cannot hurry the Lord.
I have heard it said that God has a car for me...the car He planned for me all along. Not only that, He provided my health, job, circumstances, opportunities, successes, challenges, provisions and His love. He has held me in the palm of His hand in all of my days.
I can see it as clear as daylight. I just wanted to share this with you. I am feeling so very good. I love our Lord so much..the way we are asked to:
Mark 12:30 - Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
Thank you, Lord.
